The solid wood Aura side table features two circles laid flat to form the top and bottom, connected by a slender curved pillar and a thin cylindrical column that sit parallel to each other towards the outer edge of the form. An optional integrated, circular LED light is set into the top with a translucent cover. Objects placed on the circle appear to be illuminated from within as if elevated on a pedestal of light, continuing a theme that has emerged through previous Ann Demeulemeester – Serax collections. The light levels can be raised or dimmed by stroking the surface of the column.
